Go out through the gate, and you meet Shakyamuni. Come in through the gate, and you meet Maitreya.

出門 逢 釋迦
入門 逢 彌勒

= go out, leave (hsk1)
= gate (hsk2 – but in simplified form as 门)
= meet (hsk6)
釋迦 = Shì-jiā aka Shakyamuni, the historical Buddha (釋 is hsk4 as 释, 迦 is not in hsk)
= enter, go in (hsk4)
彌勒 = Mí-lè aka Maitreya, the future Buddha (彌 is hsk6 as 弥, 勒 is not in hsk)
