The Twelve Buddhas (十二佛) are also known as the “Twelve Honored Buddhas Who Remove the Karmic Store for Those Who Repent” (懺除業障十二尊佛). This is how they are referred to in “Essential Compendium for Buddhists (Bulja Pillam, 佛子必覽)” by An Jinho (安震湖, 1880–1965) and Choe Chwiheo (崔就墟, 1865-?), which is an important text on Buddhist practice in the Korean tradition.
The Twelve Buddhas figure prominently in the “Thousand Hands and Eyes Sutra”, specifically in the section on repentance.

The first of the twelve Buddhas is King of Jewels, and the second is Victory Banner King. It is not stated explicitly in the Sutra, but these two Buddhas are associate with the Sun and the Moon respectively. The remaining ten Buddhas are each associated with one of the traditional “Ten Directions” of Buddhism. Here are all twelve:
